Conjoined identical twins, separated at birth but connected through their senses, seek to defend and revenge their family. Comedy, adventure, romance, action (including sword fights) and more. Performed interactively (like the 2024 Placer Rep hit Frankenstein).

Placer Land Trust “Nature Quest” – Forest Bathing at Canyon View Preserve
Join us for an uplifting and unique experience at Canyon View Preserve – “Shinrin-Yoku” (forest bathing). Come explore the outdoors in new ways via nature immersion techniques! A Forest Bathing Hike is a meditative, slower-paced hike where we focus on immersing all of our senses in the unique nature around us. Stroll the preserve and participate in “bathing” stations. Special station hosted by East Wind Yoga!

SNOWFEST Kickoff Party at Gar Woods
The Tradition continues with our Gar Wood’s SNOWFEST Kick off Party. Thanks to Tom and his crew for starting every event off right with a Raging Party that sets the tone for all the rest. The Blues Monsters featuring Kendall Naughton will be rocking the night away so “PUT ON YOUR DANCING SHOES”!! Also we will be introducing this years SNOWFEST SCHOLARSHIP CANIDATES so don’t forget to get online and support your favorite candidates.

The State Theatre Acting Company is honored to premiere the first Northern California production of playwright Ben Abbott’s comedy Grave Mistakes: A Haunted Rom-Com. Ray and Molly are trying to fend off their landlord and a paranormal investigator who want to turn their work attic into a certified haunted vacation rental. But is it? And as Molly writes her latest novel is she in love with her editor, Ray, and he with her, and can’t they just admit it for crying out loud? A special VIP Reception featuring a Q&A session with playwright Ben Abbott, director Rick Schlussel, and the cast follows the March 15th performance. The VIP ticket includes admission to the play and the reception, plus a specialty cocktail.

SNOWFEST Frozen Pickleball Tournament
Support youth programs and compete in the 1st Annual Frozen Pickle Cup at the Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe. Three divisions: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Double, and Adult/Child Doubles (13+ under). 8am-5pm (times vary based on division). $60/residents, $80/non-residents.

SNOWFEST Street Faire
The Tahoe City Parade is now a Street Faire!! Sign up to take part or come on out to watch as the best and brightest of N. Lake Tahoe compete to see who is the Best In Show (Prizes awarded), Best Youth Entry, Most Tahoe, and Rookie of the Year! This years theme is Lake Tahoe Mountain Mardi-gras. Entries will line the streets in stationary spots along the old parade route from 11:00am to 1:30pm. There will be vendors at the Penny Bear Park w/ Snowfest Merch, other and info on non-profits supported by our events.

AST Presents: 500 Days in the Wild
For a woman in her 50s who is not an extreme athlete, it was sometimes grueling, occasionally harrowing, often exhilarating and always surprising. She started out alone, disillusioned with the state of the world and worried about climate change, to look for different ways of caring for the land and each other. She ended the journey a bit wiser, more hopeful, in love and with a passion to share this story.

The 39 Steps is a fast-paced, comedic adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic 1935 thriller, reimagined for the stage by Patrick Barlow. The play follows Richard Hannay, an ordinary man thrust into a world of espionage after a mysterious woman is murdered in his apartment. Accused of the crime, Hannay embarks on a daring adventure to clear his name, uncover a dangerous spy ring, and stop a secret plot known as “The 39 Steps.”

Placer Land Trust – Pie Party on the Preserve
It’s a pie potluck! Sweet, savory, or pizza pie – enjoy a slice or five with old friends and new! Come at 1pm for an optional open preserve hour (details below). Wander the preserve at your own pace to build up that appetite. If you’re just coming for the pie —and who isn’t?! — we’ll start the potluck at 2pm. This casual event includes classic yard games to enjoy, a short program to share Placer Land Trust updates and answer questions, and beverages available on site! At check in, you will receive two drink tickets to enjoy the wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages provided.

Rocklin Civic Celebration
Join the City of Rocklin at Johnson-Springview Park for the Rocklin Civic Celebration, a family-friendly event that brings the community together for a fun and educational evening. Featuring both established and emerging local “makers,” the Rocklin Mini Maker Faire is a celebration for all ages featuring rockets and robots, digital fabrication, DIY science and technology, urban farming and sustainability, alternative energy, bicycles, unique hand-made crafts, music and local food, and educational workshops and installations. The Rocklin Mini Maker Faire follows the “big” Maker Faire model of celebrating invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, but is smaller in scale and showcases the wonders of Placer and Sacramento counties and beyond!
