Auburn Symphony Presents: Masterworks II: Sublime Sibelius
Jean Sibelius’ first symphony is one of the most romantic pieces ever written and is one of Maestro Murray’s personal favorites. Auburn Symphony Family Concert: Lemony Snicket: The Composer is Dead
Narrator Omari Tau will join us again for this exciting family-centered concert! This year we’ve chosen Nathanial Stookey’s The Composer is Dead, with text by Lemony Snicket. AST Presents: Apollo 13
This Hollywood drama is based on the events of the Apollo 13 lunar mission, astronauts Jim Lovell (Tom Hanks), Fred Haise (Bill Paxton) and Jack Swigert (Kevin Bacon) find everything going according to plan after leaving Earth’s orbit. However, when an oxygen tank explodes, the scheduled moon landing is called off. Subsequent tensions within the crew and numerous technical problems threaten both the astronauts’ survival and their safe return to Earth.

Ray and Molly are trying to fend off their landlord and a paranormal investigator who want to turn their work attic into a certified haunted vacation rental. But is it? And as Molly writes her latest novel is she in love with her editor, Ray, and he with her, and can’t they just admit it for crying out loud? A special VIP Reception featuring a Q&A session with playwright Ben Abbott, director Rick Schlussel, and the cast follows the March 15th performance. The VIP ticket includes admission to the play and the reception, plus a specialty cocktail.
