Lake Clementine
When fishing you can catch Rainbow, Brook and Brown Trout, Large and Smallmouth Bass, Carp and Catfish. There is a Boat Ramp (Parking Fee) and Limited and Primitive Boat-In Camping available.
Lake Clementine is a reservoir on the North Fork American River Canyon above the picturesque gold rush era town of Auburn in northern California. When fishing on the gorgeous blue waters, you can catch rainbow, brook and brown trout, large and small mouth bass, carp and catfish. There is a boat ramp (Parking Fee) and limited and primitive boat-in camping available for those who want to stay the night on the lakeside. Be sure to take your time and enjoy the scenery, there are plenty of hiking trails available as well!

From I-80 in Auburn, exit at Foresthill, drive 2.5 miles on Foresthill Road, turn left onto Lake Clementine Road, and then follow Lake Clementine Road 2 miles down to the boat dock. Lake Clementine Road is narrow, and you may encounter vehicles towing boats on trailers, and bicyclists on the road. Please use caution and observe the 15 mph speed limit.
