AST Presents: La Liste and La Liste – Everything or Nothing A Spectacular Skiing Double Feature!
La Liste (2016) – In his quest to become a better freerider, Jérémie Heitz compiles a list of the steepest 4,000m peaks in the Alps – which he wants to ski. In the process he meets the legends of the sport and learns from their experiences. One such legend, Swiss extreme skier Sylvain Saudan, dubbed “skier of the impossible,” said “When you ski down a corridor, you’re really edging death with each move that is not perfectly controlled. There’s really only one way out: don’t fall down.”
La Liste – Everything or Nothing (2021) – Heitz and Anthamatten set off on an ambitious new endeavor that will take them across the world and redefine what it means to be a freerider. They write up a new shortlist of some of the most intimidating and awe-inspiring mountain ranges on Earth, finding peaks that surpass 6000m, taking the notion of steep-skiing to a whole new level. For these two men the scenario is simple: it’s everything or nothing, and it seems like there’s rather little in between.
