Join us for our fall Campfire programs. Listen to Native American stories and roast marshmallows around the campfire at the outdoor amphitheater of the Maidu Museum & Historic Site. Make memories, enjoy great stories and tasty treats with the whole family. This is a popular program and does fill up fast; buy tickets early.

Enjoy a flash light tour examining the thousand year old rock carvings at the Maidu Museum. Special lighting brings out carved details that are only visible during this tour. Come and see rare rock art like never before. Enjoy the Campfire program before your tour. Wear close-toed shoes. Flashlight is recommended but not required. Program not recommended for children under 6. Children under 2 are free.

Prepare for a spooktacular evening of Halloween fun! Before the Trunk r’ Treat and Friday Flicks, join us for Halloween themed crafts, games and treats.

Before the Friday Flicks movie night dress up in your favorite costume and enjoy a safe and festive trick-or-treating experience as creatively decorated car trunks offer plenty of treats.

A teenager teams up with the daughter of young-adult horror author R.L. Stine after the writer’s imaginary demons are set free on the town of Madison, Delaware. NEW Concession Stand Treats: Assortment of snacks and goodies to enhance your movie-watching experience. From classic popcorn to sweet and savory options, our concession stand is ready to satisfy your cravings. Supplies are limited.

Tired of searching those dusty fields for your perfect pumpkin? We are too! Hunt for your pumpkin in the pool this year! Once you pick your pumpkin, you can decorate it at our pumpkin decorating station. The pool is open for recreational swim throughout the event. There are games, bounce houses, crafts, and singing pumpkins. Costumes are encouraged!

Get ready to laugh! Come to Downtown Roseville for a one of a kind comedy night. Alcohol concessions available for purchase. Due to the nature and content of the event, only 18 years or older are admitted.

Looking for something to do with your little ones on Halloween morning? Festive fun is coming straight to you! Have a magical morning hunting two dozen hidden nut-free, candy-filled Halloween eggs in your front yard. After an early morning egg hunt, enjoy a holiday themed activity bag left at your front door. This holiday tradition is sure to be a hit with your little ones. Please verify your street address on file, including any gate codes. Eggs are hidden in front yards of Roseville residents by 9:00 am.

Get ready for the ultimate holiday shopping experience at our Holiday Craft Fair! With over 100 vendors offering unique and handcrafted items, you can find the perfect holiday gifts while enjoying the festive atmosphere. Free admission and parking. Rain or shine.

Looking for that one of a kind gift for the holidays? Come to the Native craft fair and shop for contemporary jewelry and other items made by vendors from California tribes. Free admission and parking. Rain or shine.

Come on out & celebrate all that you’re thankful for with friends & family at this year’s Turkey Trot in Roseville! Plan to arrive no later than 8:15am in order to park and arrive at the starting area for announcements. Race announcements and course instructions given at 8:30am. The race starts promptly at 9:00am. Parking for this event is FREE! Take advantage of Roseville’s convenient parking. Refreshments provided for all registered participants following the race. All adult participants receive Unisex long sleeve race shirt. Youth will receive 100% cotton shirts. Late registrants are not guaranteed shirts and sizes. Register online by November 1, 2024 to guarantee your shirt and size! We will be accepting non-perishable food donations on race day. These food donations with be given to Saint Vincent de Paul, Roseville, to help stock their Food Locker program.

Get creative this holiday season. Design and build your own gingerbread house and enter it into the annual gingerbread house contest. All entries will be on display at 316 Vernon Street, December 4-December 19 for the community to enjoy.

Come visit the Tree Grove and holiday festivities at Town Square. Viewing of the trees and holiday music continues nightly through December 13. Local businesses, organizations and schools have the opportunity to decorate trees in the Square.

It’s the most wonderful time of year! The City’s Christmas tree is officially lit tonight on the Square. Experience an old fashion celebration and holiday cheer with decorating cookies, visiting Santa, kids activity zone, music, food and celebration. The weather is even forecasted for some snow!

Toast to the holidays! Come taste delicious wine and brews at the best holiday party in town. $12 entry fee includes a total of 6 tastings for wine and brew. Benefits recreation programs for at risk youth. Parents AND kids can have a great time. Drop your kids off for their own night of fun (same night, same location) before you head to the Tavern at our Parent’s Night Out.

Get into the holiday groove at the Riley Library! Make some Grinch-y slime, dance the cookie boogie and see who’s left standing in a snowball battle royale. Join us for crafts, games and a stop at the Hot Cocoa Depot.

You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I’m telling you why, Santa Claus is coming to town! This year, Santa is visiting neighborhoods on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings December 10-19, 2024. Santa will start his route at 6:00pm each night. We anticipate each route will run 1 to 1.5 hours. Although Santa lives in the North Pole, he doesn’t want to risk getting sick before Christmas so all visits are weather permitting. (Look for updates on the Roseville Parks, Recreation & Events Facebook page by 5pm on each evening for changes due to weather.) Santa would like to visit all neighborhoods, he just can’t fit everyone into his busy schedule but hopes to get to more neighborhoods next year. Santa will also not be able to visit with children one on one during his neighborhood tour.

Calling all “Whos”! Join us and help save Christmas from the Grinch! Create Grinch-inspired crafts, enjoy some tasty treats, and visit with Santa. Anticipate event experience lasting approximately 30 minutes. Event participation is broken down into time slots running every 30 minutes with limited capacity.
