Twin Peaks Orchards
This tree fruit orchard is the apple of Placer’s eye.
Family owned and operated since 1912, Twin Peaks Orchards is in the business of delicious fruit year-round. The orchard is located in the heart of California “gold country,” but precious minerals aren’t the only thing found here. Placer County has the perfect weather for agriculture with its warm days and cool nights, and has also developed microclimates thanks to the rolling hills of the Sierras. The result is a crop high in sugar that has the perfect balance of acid and sugar. Fall and winter features a variety of persimmons and various citrus, while spring and summer crops are brimming with stone fruit. You can find Twin Peaks at local Farmers’ Markets in the region or at their on-site Farmstand, seasonally on weekends.
